At Emmeline Skin Studio, you will experience thoughtful, customized care to reset your skin and mind. Services offered are waxing, face and body care, and eyelash lifts. Treatments here are created with a "less is more" mentality focusing on getting your skin barrier healthy and balanced. Everyone's skin barrier is susceptible to being compromised in some way or another, at some time or another. Sometimes it's out of our control... weather changes, hormonal fluctuations, natural aging, effects of medications, and many other factors.
The skin is pretty complicated. Let's try to understand your skin on a cellular and molecular level to help bring down inflammation- usually the underlying culprit of many skin concerns, and treating it accordingly. Products used in this treatment room, particularly for facials, are packed with antioxidants, peptides, botanicals, and nourishing components. Given that there are so many misleading product claims out there, I strive to do my due diligence to find high quality, well-formulated skincare and equipment for use on my clients, straying from being trend-motivated.
About your Esthetician
Hello! My name is Emmeline, Owner and Licensed Esthetician of Emmeline Skin Studio. With a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, I am excited to be able to incorporate this foundation into what I do in the treatment room. Having had a decade long R&D career, the importance of cleanliness, safety, and product knowledge are engrained in me and are top priorities for my clients. I'm certified in performing chemical peels, dermaplaning, and other advanced treatments and I plan to continue my Esthetics education whenever possible.
Originally from California, I relocated to Wichita for a much needed change of pace and to follow my passion for skincare and taking care of others. I believe it's so important for everyone to take time out of their busy days to take care of themselves, and I hope I can provide the space to allow that.
That said, the rest is up to you! Please feel free to ask for what you need during your time in the treatment room- whether it's a "no talking" treatment, or a change in the music that's being played. This space is for you to relax and reset.
I hope to continue building a community here alongside helping clients on their skin health journey.
